The Unit Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
- Providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- Conducting regular rounds to assess resident needs and monitor the quality of care
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Participating in resident assessments, care conferences, and discharge planning
- Serving as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, providing clinical guidance and support as needed
- Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care
- Participating in an on-call rotation to provide support and guidance to staff during off-hours
- Valid RN or LPN license in the state of MA
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire staff to provide exceptional care
