Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and providing nursing care services and health education to our residents. This includes supervising the care provided by CNAs and other team members, assessing the health status of our guests, and communicating effectively with physicians. The LPN will also implement new orders and stabilize patient conditions as needed. In addition, the LPN will contribute to the development of individualized plans of care and participate in multidisciplinary care conferences.
To succeed in this role, the LPN must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. A strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology is also essential. The successful candidate will have a current LPN licensure in the state and CPR certification. Previous experience in a long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
