We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Unit Leader to join our team at Regency at Westland. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, including Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
- Conduct regular assessments of patient care and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on best practices and new procedures.
Requirements
- Current state nursing licensure required.
- Current CPR certification and additional certification in a nursing specialty desired.
- Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
