We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to serve as our Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Control Nurse.
This role involves educating nursing staff through various in-service programs and designing systems to prevent or control infections based on surveillance reports.

Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and provide educational programs for all shifts and departments
- Participate in staff evaluations by providing attendance records and observing employee performance
- Provide facility orientation and ongoing in-service education to new employees
- Plan and schedule monthly and annual education programs
- Ensure Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) meet annual 12-hour in-service requirements
- Participate in quality assurance and report concerns to supervisor
- Design systems to prevent or control infections
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in long-term care setting preferred
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state
- CMS Certification required
- CPR certification
