What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern – Tax position at Regency Centers?
About this Opportunity:Regency Centers is seeking an Intern – Tax to join our Jacksonville, Florida corporate office during the summer semester 2025. This internship will provide exposure to REIT, partnership, and corporate taxation, as well as commercial real estate. We anticipate ~40 hours per week for a duration of ~9 weeks starting in late May 2025.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Calculating taxable income of entities, including analysis of book/tax differences
REIT compliance monitoring
Fixed asset reconciliations
General experience will be gained in the following common accounting software and tools:
JD Edwards general ledger system
Reporting and inquiry tools, such as GL Inquiry / Console and Spreadsheet Server
Excel – including advanced level skills for reporting and analysis, such as pivot tables, formulas and functions, etc.
Qualifications:
Junior or senior with a declared major in Accounting
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Completed at least an intermediate Accounting course
