Hey you! Yes, you! We're searching high and low to find an enthusiastic, customer driven individual with a positive attitude to join our small, but mighty team! We need someone who is dying to to change oil and manage our shop's steady growth in our Mount Pleasant location. This role is essential for ensuring efficient, perfect, oil changes for customers. You have to be willing to learn and guide our techs to the highest standards in the oil changing industry.
Customer service skills are non negotiable, as is a sense of humor. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for vehicles AND people. You can't be a people hater! Do you think you have the ability to lead? Great! Tell us why.
We are going to be learning a lot together. You need a healthy relationship with giving and receiving feedback and cannot be afraid to jump in with both feet. You do not need to be a mechanic, but it will be helpful to have some knowledge around cars. We are happy to train the right person!
We are laser focused on finding that one person who will fit with our shop culture. Maybe that is you.
One important fact: You must be available on Fridays and Saturdays. However, we are closed on Sundays and you will also receive another day off each week. These tend to be our busiest days. We offer a manager retention bonus, along with monthly bonuses for goal achievement.

Duties
- Manage daily operations of oil change shop, opening, closing, inventory, reports
- Perform, supervise and train service technicians to provide error free oil changes.
- Continually learn how to educate and present our customers with products that will benefit them. No pushy upselling is allowed in our shop.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Not everyone is going to be having a great day. Can you handle that?
- Be an ambassador for the shop in the community. Engage in business building activities regularly. For example, Chamber activities.
- Actively seek out fleet opportunities. We are the best, share that with the world.
- Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition for operational efficiency. No slacking on having organized, clean tools and work areas.
- Maximize productivity and profitability through training and goal setting/achieving. We want you to have goals and we want to achieve them together.
- Find ways to make work a great place to spend your time! You will have leeway to do things with and for your team. Everyone should want to work here.
- Actively participate in management meetings with owners and other shop managers. Your voice matters in the growth of this business.
- Collaborate with owners and techs to follow and enhance processes and always guide improvement

Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance management.
- Sales experience is a plus. It will be used particularly with the intention of educating customers and techs on how to extend the life of their vehicles.
- Some automotive knowledge with desire to have hands on duties
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and performing maintenance tasks.
- Ability to manage heavy lifting requirements safely and efficiently, including using stairs often and lifting at least 30 lbs.
- Proven accountability in completing all duties which requires organization. The use of a calendar to manage duties will bolster your ability to succeed
