Regency Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is a 100 bed skilled nursing center located in beautiful downtown Wilmington, Delaware. We are currently seeking a Staff Development Educator who is an energetic, clinical leader passionate about education. This position is ONLY responsible for the education of all employees
Job Responsibilities :
Develop and conducts orientation sessions for all new nursing / general employees.
Perform pre-employment drug testing, perform PPD testing, both pre-employment and annual. Maintain records for all employees.
Maintains training programs for the nursing department and identifies areas of interest for presentations.
Plan, schedule and post monthly calendar of education programs in timely manner.
Track licensing / certification of active staff and follow up to ensure licensing / certification stay active by ensuring CEU's are complete.
Monday through Friday, with the option of a flexible schedule / hours in management role.
On call rotation.
Qualifications : I
Must have an active RN license, Delaware preferred, but will assist with the process of receiving a Delaware license. Delaware is a compact license state.
Two years professional nursing experience, prior experience as an Educator a plus.
Possesses effective communication and problem solving skills.
