What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1:1 LNA position at Regency Home Health?
Regency Home Health, LLC is seeking a dedicated 1:1 School LNA to join our education team. The 1:1 School LNA will be responsible for providing 1:1 healthcare services to a medically fragile student, promoting education, and ensuring a safe and healthy school environment. This position is 35-40 hours per week and involves working directly with a student on both their academics and ensuring their medical needs are covered.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support care to students and staff in a school setting which includes toileting,
feeding, etc.
- The LNA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional
services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients
- Maintains patient confidentiality of all clients
- Performs duties within scope of practice, as assigned, in an accurate and timely manner
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate first aid
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote a healthy school environment
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an LNA preferred
- Experience in pediatrics preferred
- Knowledge of children, education, behavioral health, and patient care preferred
