We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our team. The 1:1 Nurse's will be responsible for providing healthcare services to a medically fragile student and ensuring a safe and healthy home and school environment. This position will consist of being in the home, in the classroom and riding the bus with a young child.
Hours are 3 days a week 8am-6pm providing home care before and after school, riding the bus, and attending school with the student (school is located in MA, home in NH). This position requires a NH and MA license due to these circumstances.
Duties:
- Provide direct 1:1 healthcare services to a medically fragile pediatric Client
- Administer medication and feeds through a gtube
- Conduct health screenings and assessments
- Follow and develop individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to promote client well-being
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
Requirements:
- Valid NH and MA RN license and CPR certification are REQUIRED
- Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing is REQUIRED
- Experience with gtubes, seizure disorders, and Tracheostomies are REQUIRED
- Knowledge of medical terminology and physiology is REQUIRED
