Regency Home Health, LLC is currently seeking LNAs or HHAs to join our dedicated team, providing exceptional pediatric home care and support for some adult patients. Home care LNAs and HHAs provide in home care personal care and support to people in their homes, such as seniors, people recovering from surgery, or disabled adults or after school care for. Their responsibilities include:
- Daily activities: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring
- Meals: Serving meals and helping prepare them
- Environment: Maintaining a safe and clean environment
- Emotional support: Providing emotional support and companionship
- Socialization: Encouraging residents to socialize and participate in activities
- Communication: Communicating with healthcare professionals or family members
- Records: Keeping proper care records
- Reporting: Reporting any unusual incidents or behavior
- Assisting with use of medical equipment like lift chairs, portable toilets, etc.
Duties may also include help with light housekeeping duties and physical therapy exercises.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bedside manner
- Medical teamwork
- Promoting mental health
- Listening, analyzing information, and focusing on quality
- Physical ability to reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and lift up to 50 lbs. while avoiding potential injury
- Minimum 1 year(s) professional or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviors
- Active NH LNA license or NH HHA certificate
