What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Duty Nurse position at Regency Home Health?

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized in-home care for pediatric and elderly clients, including:
- G-tube feeding and monitoring.
- Monitoring of respiratory function.
- Administration of oxygen therapy.
- Assistance with incontinence and related care.
- Monitor patient vital signs, assess conditions, and adjust care plans as needed.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Diabetes care
- Provide patient education and train family members on medical procedures and daily care routines.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting all treatments, assessments, and patient progress.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for the patient.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 40 hours per week 8am - 4pm ( flexible)

Qualifications:
- LPNs: Valid state LPN license.
- RNs: Valid state RN license.
- Previous experience with G-tube feeding, seizure disorders, and oxygen therapy is strongly preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor with a strong commitment to quality care.
- Ability to work independently, with excellent critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and communicate effectively with families.
- Must pass background check screening.
