DELVE DEEPER INTO THIS ROLE
This is a full-time hybrid position, scheduled Saturday through Friday (40 hours per week). The role allows for remote flexibility but requires periodic on-site visits across Benton, Linn, and Marion counties for property analysis, team development, and operational oversight.
As our Community Portfolio Manager, you're the engine behind the success of your 9-property portfolio. Each day, you'll guide and support Community Managers, removing obstacles and ensuring they hit their SMART goals. You'll implement consistent procedures, lead department meetings, and collaborate on owner reports that tell the story of each property's progress. Your day will include everything from shaping budgets and scheduling rent increases to identifying risks, resolving staffing needs, and stepping in as backup when needed. Whether you're refining systems, responding to urgent issues, or building relationships with property owners, you're the leader who keeps it all aligned-and constantly improving.
DO YOU MEET THE REQUIREMENTS?
- Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of qualified life and professional experience
- 5 years of property management experience in a senior-level role
- Thorough knowledge of commercial property management principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency in the management of all types of portfolio asset types
- Willingness to seek opportunities to develop new skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Ability to manage shifting priorities, deadlines, and workloads quickly and frequently
- Ability to manage a group of people
- Ability to work as a leader and a follower, collaborating with teams to solve problems with respect and kindness
