Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Administrator, the Facility Receptionist performs general office work to assist the Administrator and facility with clerical receptionist functions.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements :
1. Graduate from high school or commercial school.
2. Ability to type at a high rate of speed; good working knowledge of English usage, punctuation, ability to spell correctly, etc.
3. Some clerical and administrative experience required.
4. Must have ability to work under conditions of frequent interruptions and be tactful and cooperative in dealing with residents and visitors.
5. Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
6. Physical and Sensory Requirements (with or without the aid of mechanical devices) : Walking, reaching, sitting, grasping, bending, lifting, pushing, fine hand coordination, ability to read and write in English, ability to perform mathematical functions, ability to communicate with residents, families, employees and support agencies, ability to evaluate and interpret financial information and make independent decisions, and ability to remain calm under stress.
7. Must meet all local health regulations and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.
8. Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance and performing the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
