About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Regency On The Lake. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to lead our dietary services department.
As a Culinary Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive high-quality, nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences. This involves developing and implementing menus, supervising kitchen operations, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with our clinical/dietetics team and kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our guests
- Supervise kitchen operations, including procurement, sanitation, and scheduling
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and accommodate guest choices and preferences
Requirements:
- Certified Dietary Manager Certification or current enrollment in a certification course approved by the Dietary Managers Association
- ServSafe Certification required within 90 days of employment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prefer two-year supervised food service experience in an institutional setting focused on planning, preparing, and servicing regular and therapeutic diets
