Shift : Friday – Sunday; 6p-6a

INCREASED WAGE STARTING AT $18 - $21

Overview : Regency Park of Carroll Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team for an overnight weekend shift package. As a part of our high-quality and safe care environment, recognized with Telligen’s B.E.S.T in Class Award, you will play a key role in providing essential care to our residents. Job Duties & Responsibilities :

Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.

Assist with mobility, including transferring residents from bed to chair, and providing support during ambulation.

Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.

Assist with medications as directed by nursing staff.

Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, maintaining a respectful and caring environment.

Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control procedures and housekeeping duties as needed.

Document all care provided accurately and promptly in residents' charts.

Follow all policies and procedures to ensure a safe, high-quality care environment.

Respond to resident needs promptly and communicate with other staff to ensure the well-being of residents.

Education & Qualifications :

Must hold a current CNA certification in the state of Iowa.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous CNA experience in a long-term care setting is preferred, but not required.

Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, and team members.

Basic knowledge of health care practices and patient care techniques.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time.

Ability to lift and transfer residents (with assistance when needed).

Ability to assist with positioning and moving residents in and out of bed.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and assist with lifting heavier weights when necessary.

Must be able to perform repetitive motions and use proper body mechanics.
