Job Overview : Regency Park of Carroll is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Overnight Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, the Overnight Nurse will provide high-quality care to our residents during the overnight shift. Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Provide direct nursing care to residents during overnight shifts, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with the facility’s policies and procedures.
- Monitor residents for changes in health status and report significant findings to the physician or nursing supervisor.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing appropriate care and ensuring a safe environment for all residents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including CNAs, physicians, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for residents.
- Ensure infection control standards are adhered to, following facility policies.
- Provide education and emotional support to residents and their families as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continually enhance the standard of care at the facility.
- Support the nursing team with training and mentorship of new staff members as needed.
