Position Summary
The LPN – Staffing Coordinator is responsible for daily,
weekly, and monthly work schedules for the nursing staff in accordance with all
applicable laws, regulations, and Regency standards.
We are looking for a competent Staffing coordinator to
undertake a variety of tasks such as recruitment, orientation and placement of
employees. You will also be the one to ensure that the company complies with
all relevant laws regarding employment.
A staffing coordinator must be an excellent communicator,
able to foster relationships with both employees and external vendors. They
should ideally have experience in hiring and onboarding as well as other human
resources procedures.
The goal is to ensure that the company’s staffing
requirements are always met and employees work in a friendly, supportive
environment.
Education, Experience, and Licensure
Requirements
- Must have attended an accredited LPN program
- Must be currently licensed/registered in Alabama. Must maintain an
active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good
standing throughout employment.
Essential Functions
- Must be able to schedule facility staff at levels determined by
DON/Administrator
- Must be able to prepare and maintain records of all shift schedules
and communicate clearly to staff
- Must be able to understand State requirements and forecasting
- Must be able to perform functions of a charge nurse as required
- Must exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude
towards residents
- Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents
- Must demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
- Must be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good
judgment
- Must be able to communicate and function productively on an
interdisciplinary team
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk,
reach, and move intermittently during working hours
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English
language
