We are looking for two (2) K-4 and 5-8 Principal Fellows to lead culturally responsive, academically rigorous, and joyful learning school communities. Reporting to the Superintendent of Schools and working closely with a School Principal, Principal Fellows will engage in a one-year robust leadership development program focusing on instructional leadership, teacher growth, school culture, staff management, and family engagement. These aspiring leaders are vital in shaping high-performing schools that close achievement gaps and empower students for success. Successful Fellows will transition to a School Principal to lead a new or established campus for the 2026-2027 school year.
Instructional Leadership and Teacher Development (60% of role):
- Provide exemplary leadership and support to all staff to achieve outstanding performance in the school’s mission of preparing students to graduate from college.
- Support teachers in mastering and implementing the school’s curriculum aligned with state standards, ensuring academic rigor and consistency.
- Cultivate teacher expertise through frequent observations, actionable real-time feedback, and weekly professional development to enhance instructional quality.
- Collaborate with teachers to interpret and analyze student data and create actionable plans to optimize student growth.
- Teach and model exemplary instructional practices in the classroom.
- Lead teachers in creating coherence in instructional practice/routines within the school.
- In collaboration with the School Principal, oversee teacher evaluations and retention.
- Work with Principals and Case Managers to ensure compliance with state regulations in implementing special education services for all students to receive the support they need.
- Model leadership to all staff, students, and families to establish a joyful, courteous, collaborative, and achievement-oriented school culture.
- Foster consistency in academic and behavioral expectations in and out of classrooms.
- Work jointly with school leadership, staff, parents, and community partners to support students' academic and socio-emotional development.
- Drive to advance the minds and lives of students that support ReGeneration's mission.
Staff Management (15% of role):
- In partnership with the School Principal, develop, coach, and manage teacher performance to create a high-performing team.
- Hold teachers and school staff accountable for meeting high student academic and behavioral performance standards.
- Execute ReGenerations’ professional development model for school staff in collaboration with Instructional Leaders and the Executive Leadership Team.
- Communicate regularly with families on supporting their child(ren) performance, school policies, and special events.
- Respond promptly and effectively to address family concerns.
- Build positive relationships with students and families.
- Believes low-income students can become college and career-ready.
- High expectations for personal and team performance.
- Flexible to changing priorities and conditions.
- Communicates in an inspiring way.
- Organized and able to multitask to meet deadlines.
- Communicates clearly and effectively verbally and in writing.

- Reflective about personal strengths and weaknesses and able to effectively balance confidence with humility.
- At least 3 years of teaching experience with excellent academic results in a public or charter school setting is required, and 2 years of leadership/coaching experience is preferred.
- Ohio State license required (ReGeneration will support out-of-state candidates to transfer licensure).
- Bachelor's degree is required.
