What are the responsibilities and job description for the Poultry Processing Production Worker position at Regenerative Agriculture Alliance?
Position Summary:
Regenerative Food Processing is in its fourth year of operation. As an early-stage business, we are working toward year-round operations. However, this position is currently active from May 2025 through December 2025. This position requires working with live poultry and/or raw products. As a poultry processing worker, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, slaughtering, live hang, debone, cut up, evisceration, cutting, sorting, packaging, and accumulating boxes of processed products on pallets for shipping and sanitation. This position requires working in a cold or hot environment, while moving in repetitive motion. Ideal candidates should be comfortable with physically demanding work and maintaining quality and safety standards. Regenerative Food Processing is in its fourth year of operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following, other duties may be assigned.
- Works at various stations along the production line processing poultry food products.
- Follow USDA regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Participate in Company safety and training programs.
- Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management-related matters.
- Commitment to using tools (to include knives), manual labor, and equipment provided in accordance with USDA and Stacyville Poultry Processing’s product standards and procedures.
- Process product according to operating procedures and quality/quantity expectations.
- Observes equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safetyissues/concerns.
- Assist others with the skills and knowledge gained from the position.
- Observes all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies. Maintains a positive workatmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you work effectively and cooperatively withcustomers, clients, co-workers, and leadership teams.
- Participates in process improvement and problem solving utilizing continuous improvement and rationalthinking methodologies.
- Follow all company animal welfare guidelines.
- Other duties as directed.

Experience Preferred
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
- High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Food or production experience preferred
- Ability to operate a bobcat
- Machinery, Manufacturing or Engineering Experience
- Consecutive Work History of a year with one employer within the past three (3) years.
- Experience with livestock farming and/or poultry processing preferred.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
When in a plant environment:
- Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
- May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
- May be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facilities.
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
- Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm.
- Able to stand for several hours. Work may include lifting (up to 50 lbs.), reaching, bending, pushing boxes on conveyor assembly.
Pay- Hourly rate: 19/hr full time position with opportunity for growth and development .
