What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Ambassador- Front Desk position at Regenerative Orthopaedics and Spine Institute?
Busy and fast paced Orthopaedic practice looking for a VIP of First Impressions! As a Patient Ambassador, you are the first person a patient speaks to when they call the practice, so we are looking for someone friendly and energetic with SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. You play a pivotal role in ensuring patients have a great experience from the moment they call to make an appointment.

Job Responsibilities
- Greet patients in an upbeat and friendly manner.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Collect co-payments, balances and surgery deposits.
- Verify insurance coverage.
- Answering phones and checking voicemail
- Update patient information in the system.
- Work as a team to ensure that all job functions are complete.
- New patient registration.
- Scheduling referrals in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- ATHENA EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS
- Superior customer service and a willingness to help others.
- Strong comfort level with direct and indirect patient interaction.
- Extremely comfortable collecting money from patients.
- Strong computer skills.
- Must be a team player, personable, assertive and confident.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to support change in a new and fast growing orthopaedic practice.
- Willing to work out of both locations (Stockbridge & Griffin).
