Regeneron's Preclinical Manufacturing & Process Development group (PMPD), located in Tarrytown NY, is seeking a highly motivated Process Development Engineer (PDE) II for its Synthetic and Bioconjugation Scale-up Technologies (SBST) Analytics group. As a team member, you will provide analytical testing, method development, transfer, and characterization support for the SBST. Your expertise will be applied to make immediate contributions in REGNs bioconjugate pipeline through internal and external multi-functional collaboration with various teams, driving innovation and excellence in our projects.
As a Process Development Engineer II, A Typical Day May Include :
- Analytical testing, method development for bioconjugates and critical raw materials
- Perform method suitability check / robustness, transfer (internal and external) and troubleshooting for various assays to meet program needs and timelines
- Compile and interpret totality of analytical data (including data sources from other groups) to solidify key findings to move program forward.
- Collaborate with multiple multi-functional teams (internal and external) as a technical expert to support multiple IND programs
- Present data and key findings to internal and external partners.
- Managing and maintaining lab equipment, work with vendor service engineer as needed, inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring lab safety compliance
- Maintaining laboratory equipment, solve and work with service engineer as needed.
- Mentor / train other employees and interns as needed
This Role May Be For You if you :
In order to be considered for this role , you must have at least a BS / MS with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant industry experience. Industry experience includes analytical testing, novel method development, and fit for use qualification to enable first in human. Must have hands-on experience with developing, optimizing chromatographic, electrophoretic, and other protein biochemical characterization techniques. Experience with Waters and Agilent HPLC / UPLC systems and Empower software is strongly preferred. Familiarity with bioassay, and mass spec is advantageous. Must be comfortable asking questions, taking notes, and summarizing high-level takeaways.
