What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Scientist, Translational Genetics - Oncology position at Regeneron?
We are looking for an extremely talented Physician Scientist to join our Oncology Therapeutic Area Genetics (TAG) team. You will be responsible for studies capitalizing on integrating and mining large scale germline genetics and multidimensional omics datasets derived at RGC and public resources in the oncology space to identify new targets and accelerate their translation towards developing novel therapeutics.

Salary Range (annually)
$173,500.00 - $283,100.00
In this role, a typical day might include the following:
- Deploying computational methods for integrating and interpreting such information so as to more effectively identify/prioritize drug targets illuminated by genetic association data.
- Working closely with other members of the Oncology and other TAG teams, Analytic Genetics, Sequencing, and GIDE to acquire omics datasets.
- Acquire, organize and analyze omics datasets derived from within the RGC, from collaborative partnerships and/or from publicly-available resources.
- Bring innovative thinking to large-scale genetic studies and analysis.
- A strong work ethic and are proactive in providing solutions to foster scientific collaborations and drive projects forward within Regeneron.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to characterize the functional consequences of discovered disease gene variants and ensure objectives are being met across the therapeutic areas.
