Job Overview:
As an Engineering Technician II at Regenesis Biomedical, you will collaborate closely with engineers to provide technical support, perform hands-on tasks, and assist in the design, development, and maintenance of engineering projects in an FDA regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electronics, circuit board troubleshooting, and will work with engineers to assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of complex electronic systems and equipment. This role requires an understanding of engineering principles, strong problem-solving abilities, and hands-on technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, testing, and development of electronic components, systems, and equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of electronic circuits, devices, and systems at a component level.
- Utilize oscilloscopes, multimeters, vector network analyzers, signal generators, and other test equipment to diagnose and resolve electronic issues.
- Build, assemble, and modify electronic prototypes, devices, and systems as directed by engineers.
- Conduct tests and measurements on electronic systems and document results for analysis and reporting.
- Work with engineers to develop and implement test procedures and quality assurance protocols.
- Assist in the integration of electronic components into larger systems, ensuring proper functionality and performance.
- Ensure that all systems and equipment comply with safety and regulatory standards.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of electronic systems and equipment.
- Maintain inventory of electronic components, tools, and equipment.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electronics.
- Other duties as assigned.
