Regenis is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to supervise and oversee the construction of renewable energy projects in the Salem, Oregon area. This position has broad responsibilities, from managing staff and overseeing projects, to maintaining safety protocols and implementing site procedures. Oversees the construction of Regenis renewable energy projects. This position requires working with site owners, project owners, subcontractors, directing, managing and assisting small crews, as well as reporting to and taking direction from the project manager. All work involves flexibility with schedule and requires taking responsibility for project when needed, within appropriate scope of practice, while adhering to Regenis company policies and standards. Travel required.

Job Description:
- Oversee day to day construction of the facility.
- Provide for site safety and security; devise and implement site policies and procedures; responsible for all safety procedures onsite including JHA’s, monitoring subs and employees to ensure that work is happening safely and proper safety protocols are being followed, stopping work if necessary if unsafe work practices are occurring, and properly documenting, communicating, and rectifying any safety related issues on site.
- Manage emergencies appropriately according to established procedures; prepare and file accident reports.
- Set project goals and oversee projects to completion, schedule and track assignments.
- Manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Support with training and onboarding new hires.
- Adheres to assigned work schedule, available nights, and weekends (attendance and punctuality).
- Responds to phone messages and emails in timely manner.
- Seeks assistance as needed and asks questions in a timely manner and to appropriate staff.
- Maintain daily and weekly project records.
- Approve payroll and invoices, as required, in a timely fashion.
- Keep team informed of project status, risks, and success.
- Effectively communicate with the Team about any personnel issues, project details, cost analysis, project estimates, lessons learned, achievements and goals.
- Manage and evaluate staff; complete and review performance evaluations with employee; determine appropriate compensation with supervisor for merit increases or promotions.
- Keep accurate records of employee attendance and timesheets; provide positive direction to motivate quality performance.
- Coordinate discipline or termination actions with supervisor and HR to establish clear expectations and corrections for employees who are underperforming.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Must be willing and able to travel to project locations anywhere in the United States.
- Review and analyze equipment vendor quotes and deliverables to ensure that equipment is designed and sized appropriately to work in the desired application and fits within the overall project needs.
- Identify and resolve gaps in vendor-supplied equipment, controls, and materials.
- Identify areas of project that require third party engineering.
- Proactively manage for successful project outcomes.
- Schedules resources for on time completion.
- Understands scope and quality requirements.
- Ensures information and materials are provided timely for a successful project.
- Track and inspect deliveries of materials and equipment to ensure they are complete and in good condition.
- Follow preservation recommendations for equipment from time of delivery to commissioning.
- Review contract for project requirements and scope clarification.
- Identify risks throughout project, develop mitigation plans and implement.
- Identify and follow through on efficiency opportunities.
- Identify and follow through on change orders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years of prior experience in supervisory role
- Dairy background a plus
- Current Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Outstanding communication skills; excellent customer service abilities
- Exemplary analytic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize
- Professional demeanor and attitude
- Strong project management abilities
- Ability to interact with subcontractors, vendors and employees on a positive level
- Proficiency with multiple computer operating systems and software
- Accurately key-board at least 30 wpm
- Ability to be a team-player, assisting in various areas of the business, as needed
