Job Responsibilities
- MDS assessments, CAA completion, Care Plan completions and updates
- Print QM reports monthly and monitor how to improve to QM's and star rating
- Monitor VBP and iQIES
- Care plan daily orders ad therapy books
- Monitor when quarterly care plans and admission skilled care plans need to take place
- Open Care plan in PCC for new admits
- Black Box warning
- Triple check/validation
- Attend QA meetings
- Quarterly assessments
- Code Part B residents that are utilizing these benefits
- Other job duties as needed
- Must have a current RN license in the State of Kansas
- Preferred RAC-CT certificate or MDS essentials through AAPACN
- 1-2 years of experience as an MDS Coordinator
- Good organization skills
- Experience with PDPM, ICD 10 Coding, 5 star rating.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations
- Desire to work with the elderly
- This is a position in a health care facility that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The position is able to be completed on site or partially remote with flexible hours as long as work is completed timely.
