Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and direct the overall operation of our nursing department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Develop, maintain, and periodically update written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the nursing department.
• Maintain a reference library of written nursing materials (regulations, standards of practice, training, etc.) that will assist the nursing department in meeting the day-to-day needs of residents.
• Makes written and oral reports/recommendations to the Administrator as necessary/required, concerning the operation of the nursing department.
