About The Role
- The Associate, Development Finance, is responsible for overseeing merger, acquisition, and de novo financial modeling, preparing presentations for executive staff, supporting analysts, and working with senior leadership. This hybrid position requires you to reside near the Nashville area and work onsite two days per week.
- Conduct financial modeling and review analyst-prepared models, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Develop and deliver executive-level presentations to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist with financial due diligence and the general oversight of Regent's due diligence process across multiple departments
- Train, support and mentor analysts to enhance their skills and performance.
- Provide support for senior leadership initiatives and development efforts.
- Proven expertise in building and working with complex financial models.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably within the healthcare industry or Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a particular focus on Excel as a core tool.
- A strong understanding of financial statements
- A thorough understanding of due diligence processes is extremely valuable but not required.
- Effective engagement with physicians, ASC administrators, and Regent senior leadership.
- Someone with previous experience managing and mentoring direct reports would excel in this role.
- Familiarity with healthcare operations will be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver compelling presentations, such as presenting ASC targets, is highly valued.
