Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license in IL.

What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive pre-admission assessments, including medical history, medication review, and physical examinations.
- Evaluate patients’ readiness for surgery and identify any potential risks or concerns.
- Provide clear and concise information to patients and their families regarding the surgical process, pre-operative instructions, and post-operative care.
- Address any questions or concerns patients may have to ensure understanding and comfort.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless pre-operative preparation.
- Schedule necessary diagnostic tests and follow up on results to inform surgical teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, communications, and pre-operative instructions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Offer emotional support to patients and families, helping to alleviate anxiety related to surgery.
- Advocate for patient needs and preferences throughout the pre-operative process.
Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license in IL.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a nursing role, preferably in an ambulatory surgery or perioperative setting.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and experience with pre-operative patient evaluations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
