Regent University’s School of Communication and the Arts invites applications for Assistant Professor of Animation and Graphic Design as a full-time tenure-track professor. This position will be located at Regent University’s Virginia Beach campus.

The Department of Film and Media Arts features undergraduate and graduate degree programs in film, television, screenwriting, and the focus of this position—animation and graphic design.
This professor will teach courses in the Film and Media Arts department, coordinate with programs across the university and in the community, and provide leadership in the next evolution of the animation and graphic design programs as the School grows into a next generation incubator for real-world training and cutting-edge art and design.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial scholar holding an appropriate terminal degree. The ideal candidate will have a significant research and professional portfolio, evidence of successful undergraduate teaching, and a clear and compelling Christian commitment.
Expectations include 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses; 4) facility with online instructional technology; and 5) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
