Regent University’s School of Education is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Assessment and Accreditation position. This position will be located at Regent University’s Virginia Beach, VA campus. This position involves teaching in master's and post-master's programs, overseeing accreditation efforts, and leading continuous improvement for the School of Education. This faculty member will act as the main contact for the Council of the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) while working with faculty, staff, and the Office of Accreditation & Assessment to manage and report on program assessments. This individual will also maintain and analyze data for programs requiring national accreditation.

Qualifications: A Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Education or a closely related field from an accredited institution required. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching graduate-level courses and mentoring students. The candidate will have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks along with excellent written and oral communication skills. The candidate will also have a heart for the personal, spiritual, and professional development of students and faculty.

Expectations include 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses; 4) familiarity with online instructional technology; and 5) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
