The role of Marketing Writer II serves as a content communicator to achieve brand awareness, lead generation and enrollment objectives. This position reports to the Communications Director and serves as a key content creator for print and digital marketing materials. The role also involves integrating measurement results from testing and analytics to create results-driven approaches to communications. This role will work collaboratively with creative development, marketing strategy, and enrollment management stakeholders.

Essential Duties
- Write compelling targeted copy for a wide range of projects including but not limited to web, print, and video.
- Assist in message development that communicates Regent’s unique value proposition.
- Develop content specific to each medium.
- Collaborate with the Communications Director on designated assignments and provide direction to other team members who produce content.
- Interview and write articles and other communications materials for Regent’s web pages and social outlets.
- Maintain a strong and relevant voice among institutional peers in higher education.
- Assist in proofreading and general marketing writing as needed.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and directly related experience is required
- Experience with digital marketing platforms (Preferred)
- Familiarity with inbound marketing tactics and lead generation (Preferred)
- Results oriented with the ability to organize and independently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient writing skills
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams for projects including setting clear objectives, organizing people, coordinating activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring projects are on track
- Effective time-management and prioritization skills estimating appropriate time for tasks and deliverables to consistently meet deadlines
