The Media Archivist will catalog, convert, archive, and retrieve Regent University's digital media content. This position will ensure that digital media content labeling and storage standards are followed. This candidate will also assist clients with archiving and retrieving media. The Media Archivist is a part time position.
Essential duties :
- Work with leadership to maintain and update protocols / standards.
- Catalog pertinent information and metadata of Regent's digital media content into the "Media Content Archive" system.
- Assist clients with archiving and retrieving media.
- Categorize existing media assets and move from current storage media to LTO Storage.
- Determine and maintain rights management of digital assets.
- Develop and maintain video collections and subsets.
- Help the operation of university events as needed.
