Regents Park at Aventura is currently searching for Full time, Part time and Perdiem Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to work Weekends. We currently have 3 shifts available, 7am-3pm , 3p-11p and 11p-7a.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Basic Job Description:
A Certified Nursing Assistant provides healthcare and support to patients in a medical facility. Their main duties include offering basic physical assistance to patients, feeding patients according to their dietary needs and recording vital signs.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Must have an active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License
- CPR certification
- Gives direct care to residents, such as, assisting residents to the bathroom, bedpan use, shower or bathe residents, maintain residents hygiene, change bedding, etc.
- Turn, reposition and move patients between wheelchairs, seats and beds
- Serve meals and help patients eat their food
- Measure vital signs like blood pressure and temperature
- Listen to patients regarding any health concerns they might have and report details to a nurse or supervisor
- Practices safety rules at all times to prevent incidents
- Documents completely before the end of the shift
- Personal Hygiene Care
- Answers call light in a timely manner.
- Places all belongings within patients' reach (call light, pitcher, glasses, remote, etc.)
- Serves and collects meal trays, assists during meals, sanitizes/cleans tables after meals.
- Assists with monitoring residents in the common area to maintain safety.
- Assists residents in admission and discharge including the inventory of belongings.
- Gathers supplies needed for the provision of care.
- Makes unoccupied beds.
- Assists residents in activity engagement of their choice and interest.
