The Opportunity
The Materials Management Contractor will perform warehouse and logistics operations to support clinical and commercial production of gene therapy products including shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies within a cGMP warehouse. This role operates under direct supervision and receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new assignments.
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform the daily operations associated with material receipt, inspection, raw material sampling, material weighing, kitting, labeling, inventory management, and storage.
- Perform the daily operations associated with internal shipping and logistics, including building to building transportation; as well as oversee the execution of external shipping and logistics to support REGENXBIO supply chain network and the movement of drug product between sites.
- Ensure execution of all activities is compliant with GMP/GDP procedures.
Experience & Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 0-3 years’ experience in warehouse management, logistics, and inventory management; preferably in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
- Hands-on experience utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks
- Basic Computer skills
- Ability to read and follow SOPs
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours, including shift, overtime and on-call as required.
- Adhere to all federal and/or local regulations, laboratory health and safety procedures, and all company Standard Operating Procedures, policies and guidelines.
