Substitute Teacher

Trent ISD is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated substitute teachers to join our team. As a substitute teacher, you will play a crutial role in maintaining the continuity of education for our students when regular teachers are absent. You will be responsible for delivering lesson plans, managing classroom environments, and ensuring student learning and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow and teach lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher in their absence.
• Maintain a positive, orderly, and academically focused classroom environment.
• Manage student behavior and classroom order.
• Provide clear instructions and support to students in completing their assignments.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration.
• Uphold the school's policies, procedures, and educational philosophy.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous teaching or childcare experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and situations.
• A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their educational growth.
