- Plan and implement instruction to meet the needs of all students in ASL 1, 2, and 3 in accordance with the district curriculum.
- Be open to pursuing UCONN ECE ASL certification.
- Differentiate instruction and ensure that all accommodations and modifications are being met.
- Serve as an advisor to a grade-level group of students on a weekly basis during the school day.
- Attend all professional learning opportunities as outlined in the professional learning calendar.
- Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student performance and progress.
- Model and provide opportunities for students to practice and demonstrate the Region 14 Vision of A Learner attributes.
- Uphold and support all school rules, Board policies, and administrative regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments to develop and meet goals and objectives related to both student and teacher performance.
- Build and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment by demonstrating an understanding of the social and emotional needs of students.

SALARY: Per Teacher Contract.
QUALIFICATIONS: 057 (Hearing Impaired PreK-12) or 024 (ASL) Certification OR a score of 3or higher on the Praxis American Sign Language Proficiency Interview (ASLPI)
WORK YEAR: July 1- June 30 yearly
