Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, self motivated Accounting/Finance Associate to manage and oversee our company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of accounting principles, business operations, and QuickBooks.
The Accounting/Finance Associate would be a member of the fiscal department which is responsible for all financial data aspects and operations of the Region, performs or supervises accounting functions such as: general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, provider billings, and the generation of end-of-month reports and billings.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and business operations principles.
-Must be proficient in excel and QuickBooks.
-Ability to write and communicate effectively, make independent decisions, produce business reports with minimal supervision, and work in a team atmosphere.
Major Functions:
-Responsible for all financial data aspects, and operations of the Region.
-Performs the generation of end-of-month reports and billings.
-Completes appropriate government forms and reports.
-Maintains appropriate documentation and controls for accountability.
Training and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business with emphasis on accounting or related field plus three to five years accounting experience, or Bachelor or Associate degree in business admin, accounting or office management, from an accredited college, plus a minimum of three years of experience in bookkeeping including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and producing financial reports.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
