What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Improvement Specialist position at Region 6 Behavioral Healthcare?

Region 6 Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a Quality Improvement (QI) Specialist. The QI Specialist is responsible for data management services, data reconciliation, data integrity (within the Electronic Health Record), data reporting, and data analysis to meet the needs of assigned areas of the agency. The QI Specialist would participate in program evaluation, quality improvement initiatives, compliance monitoring, accreditation functions, and assist with administration of the Electronic Health Record. This individual would also develop and administer various surveys, collect data, attend meetings, and conduct regular presentations for these meetings. This QI Specialist works closely with the Region 6 Behavioral Healthcare Professional Partner and Network Services Departments.

The interested individual must have a bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Services, MIS, or Business with coursework related to the job responsibilities. Two to five (2-5) years’ experience in quality improvement, process improvement, evaluation or related area, preferably in a human service or healthcare setting.

Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance are required. The successful applicant must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
