Contract:12 months (226 days) plus stipend. Position may require extendend hours and weekends.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Work and collaborate with Animal Science and Building trades teachers. Exhibit the ability to oversee and instruct students in all aspects of ag mechanics projects for county and statewide shows.
Ability to instruct students, manage a classroom and motivate students to participate in all levels of the FFA program required. Leadership in FFA and skills activities, Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills preferred.

Education/Certification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Masters degree and/or substantial work experience preferred (for possible dual-credit cooperative with Kilgore College)
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI)
- Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to instruct students and manage classroom behavior
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
