Job Summary: The Communication Technician’s role is to develop informational materials that promote the mission, goals, accomplishments, and programs of the region and to contribute to the efficient operation of the ESC.
Qualificatons: Education/Training: High School Diploma / GED Prefer college hours or Associates Degree. Experience: At least 3-5 years of related experience. Graphics experience, preferably in a school setting. Experience in communications, marketing, or advertising required.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in marketing, branding, and communication efforts for all Region 7 ESC activities and programs
- Use the principles of design to develop appropriate and appealing graphics that will enhance the image of Region 7 ESC and market programs, services, and events to the intended audience
- Maintain the overall consistency of Region 7 ESC brand and marketing messages with a focus on aligning client goals with Region 7 ESC goals
- Assist with designing brochures, fliers, program covers, templates, manuals, and advertising in support of the Region 7 ESC’s mission, beliefs, and vision
- Collaborates with communications team members in the creation of written/visual/video/graphic content for print and online
- Primary contact for Marketing Request forms
- Solve design challenges creatively and adapt to changes in project scope or requirements
- Strong skill set and working knowledge of videography equipment and editing software
- Must be able to collaborate with clients to develop storylines based on needs
- Assist in filming and have experience using various video equipment
- Provide backup to print shop and webpage content that ensures the effective and efficient use of resources within those areas
- Maintain organized and computerized department files
- Compile information and prepare reports as needed
- Other duties as assigned

Salary : $48,348 - $68,848
