What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Support Specialist position at Region 8 Mental Health?
Community Support Specialist
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field. Duties will include obtaining pertinent data of individuals receiving services to determine service needed and to make adequate referral and to insure services are provide. The Community Support Specialist provides direct services to individuals and participates in the center programs such as staff meetings. And all other duties assigned by Supervisor.

- Valid Mississippi driver’s license
- Pass a Criminal Background Investigation
- Must be proficient in computer skills for daily documentation with Electronic Medical Records
