Assist the Directors of Elementary and Secondary - Curriculum & Instruction in ensuring the smooth operation of the Department efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
High School diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills
Proficient skills in typing, word processing, and file maintenance Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Basic math skills
Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and databases and do word processing
Experience
Three years of secretarial experience, preferably in a public education environment MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
None.

Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stressful conditions.

- Perform general office routines and practices, such as but not limited to creating and typing
- forms, reports, correspondence,
- Read and disseminate incoming mail to the appropriate
- Schedule appointment conferences and meetings with vendors, consultants and
- Coordinate and communicate all telephone and walk-in requests made by parents, students, and the general public.
- Receive and disseminate approved purchase orders to the appropriate
- Prepare all materials (i.e., agenda, transparencies, handouts, plans, scripts, ) for board meeting presentations and workshops.
- Make arrangements and prepare all meeting packets for monthly staff
- Assist in preparing the
- Make travel arrangements for the Directors of Elementary and Secondary in Curriculum and Instruction, other staff members, and consultants.
- Keep all reference material.s
- Communicate with campus staff when
- Process payroll requests for Curriculum and Instruction
- Maintain confidentiality of communications and
- Safely perform all duties to avoid injury to oneself and/or
- Perform other related duties as
