CLASSIFICATION TITLE: Community Services Associate B, Horizon House, Nelson (Full Time)
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a FLSA non-exempt position. In this position, you will be able to directly support the success of adults with Serious Mental Illness. The Senior Community Services Associate for the Horizon Center will work collaboratively to facilitate rehabilitation and recovery opportunities for a diverse community of adults. In this role, you will provide services on the individual and group level to promote independence, symptom management, and overall wellness. The ideal candidate will be creative, collaborative, and will concentrate on person-centered approaches to make a difference in the lives of Horizon Center community members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To ensure the safe and efficient operation of the program, a valid Virginia Driver’s License plus an acceptable driving record as issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles are required. For business use of a personal car, a certificate of valid personal automobile insurance must be provided. Must meet certification as QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional) as set forth by Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services.
