CLASSIFICATION TITLE: Program Director II, Adult Access/Outpatient Co-Director (Chville/Alb)
General Statement Of Responsibilities
This is a FLSA exempt position. The incumbent serves as the Co-Director II of Same Day Access Services (Adults) and Outpatient Team for Charlottesville and the County of Albemarle. Utilizing a team approach, the Director will coordinate and facilitate the Same Day Access services to assure that community residents are accessing their comprehensive needs assessment (CNA) when they need to have an evaluation and/or begin treatment services to address substance use disorder and/or mental health needs. The incumbent will be responsible for collection of outcome data, assuring that financial data is collected and set up correctly, assurance that SUD and MH evaluations are done utilizing accepted best practices. They will also supervise and coordinate these functions as they relate to the front desk staff. The incumbent will also provide direct and indirect supervision, in coordination with the Adult OP Co-Director, to staff and interns as needed in order to assure that interns', SDA and OP staffs' clinical supervision needs are met, and that authorizations are completed as needed during the intake as well as throughout treatment. The SDA Director will also assure that referrals are received by OP staff/interns and assigned appropriately. The incumbent is expected to function with initiative as well as utilize independent judgment. The incumbent reports to the Senior Director, Center for Child and Adult Clinical Services and will receive regular supervision. The incumbent will seek consultation from supervisor and/or other agency specialists as needed. The incumbent exercises sound judgment, is cooperative, is able to work well with and inspire others, and demonstrates leadership. In carrying out position duties, the incumbent is expected to perform in accordance with applicable professional ethics and established Region Ten policies.
Qualifications
Master's degree in a related field is required. Licensure as a LCSW or LPC is required. Three to five years Supervisory Experience preferred, both clinical and administrative supervision. A minimum of two years of experience in the provision of services to adults with co-occurring, mental illness and substance use disorders is required. At least three years of experience in supervision of professional staff is required along with at least two years of administrative program supervision experience to include budgeting and program development required.
