CLASSIFICATION TITLE: Regional DAP Manager, Charlottesville (Full Time)
General Statement Of Responsibilities
This is a FLSA non-exempt position. The incumbent reports to the Senior Director of Regional Programs & Services and performs advanced skilled projects management and administrative support work overseeing, managing and reporting on regional activities, including the Discharge Assistance Program (DAP), providing technical support and training to regional partners, tracking utilization and outcome data for the region, preparing monthly reports, maintaining close communication with regional DAP contacts, and related work as apparent or assigned. The position duties require analysis of facts and determining action using wide range of procedures, but within the limits of standard practice. The incumbent is expected to utilize problem solving techniques and analytical skills to assure that tasks are completed effectively and efficiently. In carrying out position duties, the incumbent performs in accordance with applicable professional ethics and established Region Ten policies. Errors committed may have a continuing long-term negative effect on operation of the total organization. The incumbent is expected to function with substantial initiative as well as utilize independent judgment.
Duties require developing, implementing, and evaluating agency policy, procedures and data management systems. Positive performance generates high quality applicants for all levels of agency employment and efficient operations. Performance can have continuing long-term positive and negative consequences for program operations. The position performs in accordance with professional ethics, Federal, State and local licensing, accrediting bodies, and other requirements and within established Region Ten policies.
Qualifications
To ensure the safe and efficient operation of the program, a valid Virginia Driver's License plus an acceptable driving record as issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles are required. For business use of a personal car, a certificate of valid personal automobile insurance must be provided. Bachelor's degree with coursework in business administration, communications, or related field and considerable experience in data tracking and analysis, project and program management, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with accepting increasingly challenging and complex roles and responsibilities related to projects management and leadership. Experience working in a behavioral health setting preferred.
