What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) PA or NP - Radiology position at Regional Diagnostic Radiology?
Regional Diagnostic Radiology is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to enhance our clinical practice. The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing quality care to the patients, performing outpatient and inpatient procedures and assisting physicians in direct care of patients. This is a full-time position working 4 days per week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily Duties
1. Reviews patient charts and is informed and prepared to consult and treat patients.
2. Performs Consults and History and Physical exam and thoroughly documents all findings and reports to physician.
3. Performs medical sclerotherapy.
4. Performs IR patient consultation, follow up, and documentation. Works closely with the IR physicians to assure timeliness, appropriate care and agreed upon treatment plans. Assists the physicians with coordination of patient care.
5. Performs minimally invasive radiology guided procedures under the direction of RDR Radiologists.
5. Takes initiative in recommending initial evaluation and providing follow up care.
6. Assists staff and RDR leadership as needed with paperwork, special projects, reporting, etc.
7. Works closely with the Radiologists, staff, and administrators to develop and improve operations.
8. Maintains licensure and continuing education units.
Basic Responsibilities
1. Maintains good knowledge and stays educated and aware of new practices for services provided.
2. Performs all APP procedures and services offered at The Vein Center & MedSpa, Regional Diagnostic Radiology and our partner facilities.
3. Demonstrates sound judgment, initiative, and proficiency in skills.
4. Presents a positive attitude and a professional appearance.
5. Attendance and Dependability: The employee can be depended on to report to work at the scheduled time and is seldom absent from work.
6. As a provider, the APP serves as an essential partner in promoting and marketing the services offered at our clinic.
Additional Roles in Clinic
1. Supports maintenance of up-to-date procedural manuals.
2. Supports and maintains reports on outcome, quality and performance.
3. Attends regular staff meetings.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Graduated from an accredited educational program for Advanced Practice Provider
· Licensed as an APP in the State of MN.
· Two or more years of work experience is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
· Ability to work without direct supervision.
· Must have knowledge of techniques required for diagnosing, treating and prescribing medication.
· Good knowledge in providing personal services such as meeting the quality norms, and evaluation of customer or patient satisfaction.
· Ability to acquire and retain a current CPR Certification.
· Ability to perform minimally invasive procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
