Position Purpose
Performs routine assignments in kitchen, tray line and dish room. Performs food preparation as required, operates cash register, and receives, stores, and rotates supplies.
What you will Do
- Performs routine patient tray-line/cafeteria/dining room/catering assignments.
- Food Preparation as required; prepares items according to recipe and procedure following food safety guidelines.
- Operates cash register.
- Receives, stores, and rotates supplies.
- Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures.
- 5 FTE; 40 hours per bi-weekly pay period; shift start, and end times may vary but primarily 10am-6:30pm; weekend and holiday rotation required.
- Requires the ability to read, write and understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff and physicians while performing their job duties.
- Ability to read, basic language, basic math, basic reasoning ability.
- Ability to work with others and communicate courteously and clearly.
- Knowledge of food safety and hand hygiene.
