Description : Position Purpose :
Coordinate high-quality, nutritionally appropriate food services for diverse populations, including patients, visitors, and staff. Support the Food & Nutrition Services Manager by managing costs within the approved budget while enhancing culinary operations.
What You Will Do :
- Oversee culinary operations, focusing on patient and retail services.
- Collaborate with cooks to refine menus and recipes; contribute to regional menu development.
- Manage food preparation and service, ensuring compliance with policies and sanitation standards.
- Order and oversee food supplies within budget guidelines.
- Maintain detailed records, including meal counts and departmental documentation.
- Train and mentor food service staff while addressing inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and Trinity Health policies.
Hours / Schedule :
Full-time : 64 hours per pay period (.8 FTE). Weekend and holiday rotations required. Flexible shifts between 5 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM.
