POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for an Outpatient Registration Specialist to join our Outpatient Services team! The Outpatient Registration Specialist r eceives patients and visitors to Outpatient and Emergency Services. They are responsible for maintaining patient flow, scheduling appointments, forwarding appropriate phone calls, registering patients, upgrading demographic and general clerical duties. They will also act as cashier and perform other finance office duties. $1 incentive if fluent in Spanish.
* This position is Part Time, 48 hours every 2 weeks. Hours are 10pm-6am Friday, Saturdays and other days as scheduled. *
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of medical billing and collection practices. At least 1 year Medical Office experience required, including patient types and insurance billing.
- Knowledge of Excel, email, and financial billing systems required.
