What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jacksonville Hybrid High Roof Cargo Van Opportunity position at Regional Last Mile?
Overview
We are looking to fill a HYBRID position. The position requires 2 Local Weeks and 2 OTR/Regional weeks. For your local week, we need M,W,F coverage for a local Delivery Service Provider opportunity. THE OPPOSITE WEEKS we need an Over The Road or a Regional driver to follow the money.
For your local week:
- Service window load time: 6:30am
- Base Rate: ranges from $1.30 per piece up to $2.30 per piece depending on the distance from the branch, the closer to the branch the less per piece, each stop varies for the pieces being delivered.
- 30-50 Stops per day on average, 75-150 avg miles per day on
- Average 100-150 pieces per route
For your OTR/Regional week:
You will be responsible for delivering NO TOUCH freight efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. This is a Non-CDL opportunity but a clean MVR is a must!!!
No Forced Dispatch but you will be responsible for negotiating your own loads. You will be coached and provided apps to allow this but 10 DISPATCHED DAYS ARE REQUIRED.
Responsibilities
Owner-Operators With Cargo/Sprinter Vans Needed: 9-15ft Of The Cargo Space
Requirements
- Must own a Sprinter Van or Small Straight Truck (GVWR under 10,000 lbs) with minimum inside dimensions of 130x50x60 inches
- 9-15ft of the cargo space
- Not older than 2010
- The truck should be registered under your name or a direct family member (parent or child)
- Straps, E-Tracks, PPE
- At least 6 months of driving experience
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Punctuality, flexibility, liability
